That’s why it’s exciting that every employee in the Netherlands can now benefit from the Electric Mobility Plan. In late 2023, all 80 employees were presented with a choice: if you live close to our offices in Eindhoven, you have the option to be prodived with an electric bike. Need a city car or a larger family vehicle? You have options there as well. Curious about what choices they made and the impact this mobility plan has had since its launch?
The Electric Mobility Plan is a major sustainability initiative that Gerald Bartholomeus has spearheaded. “I started by digging into electric vehicle options and discussing them with our leasing company. We needed to consider the best models, how to charge them sustainably, and the tax implications,” Gerald says.
In August 2023, we hit a major milestone when Van Mossel Autolease delivered the first 16 electric cars to our Eindhoven office. The leasing company even personalized the cars with the names of the first sixteen employees that signed up for the plan..
All employees can take part in this plan, saving on upfront costs and electricity, as charging stations are conveniently located at our office. With “welcome green guest” signs in our parking areas, we are able to support a greener future without requiring anyone to invest in home solar panels.
