Unpacking our
Impact Business Models

Our two Impact Business Models (IBM’s), Impact Improvement and Resource Conservation, are both focused on our i-mop. Our i-mop is designed to revolutionize cleaning – improving it for the user and for the planet.

Impact improvement

Enhancing Working Conditions for Cleaning Professionals

Improving the working conditions for cleaning professionals is key to boosting their well-being and work efficiency. This involves addressing several important factors.

01

First, reducing ergonomic stress and physical strain. Our products are designed and tested to minimize the physical impact on users, making their tasks more comfortable and less taxing on the body.

Resource Conservation

Conserving Water and Energy

The design of the i-mop contributes to the conservation of water and energy in many ingenious ways

Brushless
motor

The i-mop is equipped with an electrically driven brushless motor that does not produce micro pollution, preventing micro pollution entering the air. This motor is also designed with fewer moving parts, which extends the i-mop’s lifespan.

Battery
powered

Given that the i-mop is battery powered, this offers great freedom of movement for its users making the job less tiresome. The batteries are designed for long-term use and recharging. In addition, the system minimizes the use of chemicals. Cleaners can opt for the specially developed i-dose, a plant-based detergent. We’re working on getting the i-dose fully Cradle to Cradle certified.

Management
platform

Also, our cloud-based management platform, i-link, regulates the i-mops and is used for maintenance reminders and updates to increase product longevity and long-term improvements.

Reduces
usage

Lastly, the i-mop reduces water usage by 81% compared to traditional cleaning methods. It is estimated to reduce energy usage by an average of 30%. The 2024 i-mop model will be 30-50% more energy efficient than the 2023 version, with the new brushless motor offering an additional five years of lifespan.
